Riververb is always in a constant change, and I hear that the latest incarnation is the best so far! Judge for yourself! it’s some heavy stuff! Face morphing grinder sludge. Last time Riververb played, no slayed, the smoke turned black from monolithic chunks of acid-noise.
Actuary shake the shit loose! Los Angeles breeds some sick stuff and this by no means drops the ball. Not only are this tunes in your face, it’s in your skull too! Mean ass nitro venom. Gory!!
Gerritt Wittmer is an artist in the darkest sense possible. I’m not sure what he’ll be doing at this month’s Stay Strange, but if it’s anything like his performance at LUFF, it’s going to be scary!!!

Two powerhouse bands, Pelican and Mono, have come together to grace us with their awe-inspiring aural presence on one incredible release. Both bands bring forth an onslaught of music that is undeniably beautiful, punishing, and apocalyptic all at the same time and together created what almost instantly became one of my most prized records. The split-exclusive tracks, Pelican's "Ran Amber" and Mono's "Yearning" are exercises in musical perfection and are two of my favorite songs from either band, ever. Pelican's other track is a great James Plotkin remix of "Angel Tears", which was first heard on their debut full-length, AUSTRALASIA. I can't recommend this release highly enough. Definitely check this out if you're a fan of Red Sparowes, Isis, or Explosions In The Sky.
